Sustainable Farms ecologist Clare Crane will join Riverina Local Land Services to share a range of on-farm practices to build drought resilience and improve management of natural capital on your property in dry times.
- Fundamentals and designs of stock management areas including livestock feeding and water requirements
- Discussion of farm dam enhancements to benefit livestock productivity and promote biodiversity with Sustainable Farms ecologist Clare Crane
- Participate in a training session on practical, in-field observations to monitor and improve soil health on your farm with Soils for Life
- Pasture and groundcover management, including planning for dryer conditions with an LLS drought adoption officer
This is a free event but registration is essential.
The event will be held at ‘Wooloola’, Maxwell (between Wagga and Mangoplah).
