Natural Asset Farming: meet the authors in Wagga Wagga
Natural Asset Farming: meet the authors in Wagga Wagga
Join Sustainable Farms and ABC Riverina breakfast host Sally Bryant for the Wagga Wagga launch of Natural Asset Farming: Creating Productive and Biodiverse Farms.
Authored by four members of the Sustainable Farms team and published by CSIRO Publishing, Natural Asset Farming introduces an important new framework for the integration of biodiversity into agricultural landscapes.
It also provides practical guidance on enhancing natural assets on farms, bringing together the experience of farmers and the results of 20 years of detailed ecological studies undertaken by the ANU Sustainable Farms team on farms in Australia’s south-eastern wheat-sheep belt.
We’re delighted to announce that ABC Riverina breakfast host Sally Bryant will launch the book, and facilitate a discussion with two of the book’s authors. Cindy Scott, one of the farmers featured in the book, will also join us for the discussion.
Join us for drinks, nibbles and conversation at The Thirsty Crow – it’s a family-owned, independent brewpub and a great spot for a Thursday night event! We look forward to seeing you there.
RSVP essential by 9am, Wednesday 30 March 2022 – see below for registration details.
