Laura Day
Biodiversity Field Officer (ACT)
Laura has a Bachelor of Science and brings her experience from working in environmental consulting and natural area restoration. Laura has relocated from the NSW north coast where she has worked on a range of ecology projects including threatened species and feral animal surveys, the application of fire for management of open eucalypt forests, and as a conservation detection dog handler.
Laura is interested in many aspects of ecology but particularly loves working on birds. Outside of work you can usually find Laura out in the bush or the paddock with a BirdLife or Landcare group.
