Join Riverina Highlands Landcare Network, Riverina Local Land Services and Sustainable Farms to learn about farming for agricultural productivity whilst supporting critically-endangered ecological communities.
The field day will include:
- Visiting sites on the property of Louise Freckelton and David Bray to hear about their farm management in the context of an enduring conservation convenant
- Hearing about the scientific research that Sustainable Farms have been undertaking on natural assets such as farm dams and shelterbelts
- Overview of Riverina Highlands Landcare Network projects and future outlook
This is a free event, with lunch provided.
Please bring:
- Your own chair
- Hat, sunscreen, boots (plus wet-weather gear if required)
- Water bottle
